1. Make sure your horse is standing on a flat area.
2. Hold the "0" end of the tape and pass the other end over the horses back.
3. Bring the end of the tape under your horse, around his barrel (where the girth sits).
4. Pull the tape to meet the "0" end and read the weight.
5. Use that to calculate the amount of wormer needed.
